The Passivhaus standard is a residential construction standard requiring very low levels of air leakage, very high levels of insulation, and windows with a very low U-factor. Unlike most standards for energy-efficient homes, the Passive House standard governs not just heating and cooling energy, but overall building energy use.
How It Works:
A passive building design incorporates an extremely well-insulated, air-tight building envelope combined with systems to control air quality and indoor temperature and comfort.
Passive House clients and consultants often require thermal performance data for windows and doors that is produced according to the EN ISO 10077-2 and EN673 standards (European thermal modelling methods).
To support these clients, Inline Fiberglass Ltd is pleased to provide these values for our window and doors series most often selected for these types of projects (300 Series - Fixed, 300 Series - Tilt&Turn, 301/302 Series - Swing Doors, 325 Series - Casement, Awning, Fixed, 400 series – Commercial Strip, 600 Series – Sliding Glass Door).
